Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered save bug caused by Steam names with special characters

Aspyr Media's recent HD remaster of Quantic Dream adventure game Fahrenheit has an interesting bug that will only affect players who use special characters in their Steam name. Users on Reddit are reporting that Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered uses your default Steam name to create a save, which is fine unless your name happens to use characters that Windows doesn't recognise.
