Are you a fan of either sniping from a distance or remix artist Zayde Wolf? If you answered yes to either of these questions, the below Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 trailer is likely to be of interest. The Sniper: Ghost Warrior series is known for being, well, pretty average. Despite the middling review scores of 5/10 across the board for both the first and second game, the series turned out to be a commercial success with over five million sales in total. The third game in the series, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, was announced in December 2014, with the first gameplay footage being shown at E3 2015. Today it has been announced that the game is being delayed from its initial release date of sometime in 2016 to January 27th 2017. "Shortly before completion of the work, we found that we were our target. Although close, however, we would still need some time to ensure that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is unique.” said CI Games CEO and Founder, Marek Tyminski. "We are pleased and welcome the patience and support of the waiting players. There are only a few months. And the wait is definitely worth it.2

CI Games' Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 feels like a bit of a make or break entry in the sharpshooter series, which has had some good moments, but often failed to live up to its fairly simple premise. The third game is attempting to fix that by adding more open, expansive levels, a more varied array of options for approaching each mission (rather than crouching in a bush and getting shot in the head repeatedly by the deeply unfair AI), and improved sniping mechanics.
