Battlefield 4: China Rising Summary
China Rising, the first major DLC for Battlefield 4 (excluding the Xbox One Second Assault timed exclusive) is now available to Premium Members.
DICE has announced the next PC update will be arriving tomorrow for Battlefield 4, so it launches alongside the China Rising expansion for all Premium members. Roll out begins 1.00am PST/10.00am UTC.
No new changes have been made to the earlier update notes for PC. It addresses the 'one-hit kill bug' where a single bullet's damage would be "applied multiple times".
The latest PC update for Battlefield 4 has inadvertently allowed access to the upcoming additional weapons and gadgets that feature in pre-order DLC China Rising, which first hits for Premium users this December.
Non-premium grunts get their access two weeks later. Private servers have managed to gain access to the DLC weaponry. DICE are rolling out Server Update R10 to fix crashes.
Microsoft has announced the Season Pass Guarantee program, which the publisher states will make transitioning from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One easier.
Recently Ubisoft's Uplay platform posted some PC system requirements for DICE's Battlefield 4, however they appear suspiciously Battlefield 3 in flavour, albeit with a few tweaks. They don't even match the BF4 alpha.
EA Origin producer 'Redditor Offspring' has dismissed the requirements saying DICE is yet to finalise them. A tell-tale sign these aren't genuine is the lack of Windows 8.
