Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes coming to PC and consoles this fall

Marvel's finest will be making their way to Disney Infinity on PCs this fall in the Marvel Super Heroes update, confirmed developer House of Mouse yesterday. Famed comic writer Brian Michael Bendis will be on story-writing duties, and players can expect to see both superheroes and villains make an appearance.

UK chart still led by Saints Row IV, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix debuts 2nd

Volition's probing Saints Row IV keeps its crazy cool atop the UK chart for another week, while Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix enters the running 2nd. Diablo III stays 3rd for consoles.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Disney Infinity, Minecraft for Xbox 360 and Payday 2 all keep steady from 4th to 7th respectively. EA Sports' NHL 14 slips on the rink 11th.

Saints Row IV, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Disney Infinity atop UK chart

Last week saw the debut of Volition's Saints Row IV, Ubisoft's Splinter Cell Blacklist and Disney Infinity, which have all claimed the top rungs on the UK chart ladder. Saints Row IV is 2013's fourth biggest launch.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition came 4th, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and FIFA 13. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified enters the UK chart 10th, just behind The Last of Us.

Disney shows off The Incredibles play set for Disney Infinity

Disney Interactive has released a trailer showing off The Incredibles play set that will be included in the Disney Infinity starter pack, which will also feature the Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean play sets.

Disney Infinity delayed until August, hopes kids take toys into school to trade

Disney Corp has decided to push back the release of Disney Infinity from June until mid-August to encourage retailers to give more shelf space for its line of toys, which Disney hopes will flood playgrounds.

August is generally quiet for video game releases and so Disney want to capitalise on that as kids are back in school September, hopefully trading their Disney Infinity wares for free marketing.
