Earth 2160 Reviews
I won't recommend it certainly as I just simply didn't like it. If you are a hardcore RTS player, you won't find much to play with in Earth 2160.

A WAY better than most RTS' out today, especially those strangely ultra-famous ones from a certain company named after a very cold wind tempest.. ehmm... you know.
Anyway, this game has 4 very different races (and the aliens are really different from anything I have ever seen in an RTS!), 3 of them with fully customizable units and unique big reseach trees (yes, research tree in a RTS, fantastic!).
Excellent interface (you can group units from the design screen!), good sounds, balanced maps and good story for the long campaign.
DAMN GOOD GAME INDEED!
EARTH 2160 is an RTS game based on the popular and successful EARTH series. Including single and multiplayer modes. The game uses the latest Earth III engine. Storing objects in a format based on the mathematical model of Bezier-curves instead of polygons. Giving an as yet unseen level of detail, only limited by the hardware used. A native T&L rendering module supports per pixel shaders and bone calculation directly on advanced graphic cards. All character parties have the possibility of developing new technologies. Work on technologies are done in research centers on the planet surfaces. Each species can develop as many technologies at one time as they have technology centers. They will have access to technology trees to manage work on new technologies.
At the beginig this game makes you a good impression but in time you can get a little bored. The missions a hard and the damage the vehicules are doing to the buildings are too low. Anyway this game has a nice option , that you can build your own tank or vehicule and upgrade it how you want and with the technology you have you can make a truly war machine.
