Full Control has released the last major Jagged Alliance: Flashback before it launches in full later this month.for its turn-based combat revival
The game's now content complete, with the Angetta and Secret Sectors both present and correct. There's also new Energy and Morale meters for combat.
Full Control has begun the closed alpha for Jagged Alliance: Flashback with eligible Kickstarter backers being given access. The turn-based strategy ended its campaign with over $350k, and it launches this year.
It will be arriving on Steam Early Access in 2014's second quarter, and the Danish developer is eager to receive "early feedback from the community" through Steam.
Copenhagen-based Full Control have informed the masses of what's been going on in their latest newsletter. With regards to Space Hulk, it will be on Steam for pre-purchase "in just a few weeks" for Warhammer 40k fans.
They took the game to Rezzed and were "somewhat overwhelmed" by the queues to play it. While Space Hulk is the "main focus" for most at Full Control, Jagged Alliance Flashback rolls forward.
Over 7,000 backers have pledged over $368k to Full Control's Jagged Alliance: Flashback on Kickstarter, taking the project over the needed $350k mark. The studio is "so grateful" for all those who pledged.
They'll begin a Slacker Backer initiative so that there's still time to earn some of those stretch goals from the Kickstarter campaign, which will run for 2-3 months, for current and new backers.
The Kickstarter for the 1980s set Jagged Alliance: Flashback is entering its final moments with just under 60 hours left on the clock. It needs $350,000 to succeed and has around $270k from over 5,400 backers.
Full Control has had great support from the Jagged Alliance community, including the modders. Flashback explores the roots of the fictional merc group A.I.M.
