Ubisoft confirms Splinter Cell Trilogy online "won't be included"

There is no multiplayer component whatsoever included with Ubisoft's Splinter Cell HD Trilogy for PlayStation 3, confirms the publisher. That means no co-op either. Each title is based on the PC versions as they "provided the best quality." The collection of 3 Splinter Cells, bundled and individual, are due out June 17th.

Ubisoft has announced Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy HD for the PlayStation 3 which includes the first three games in the series re-released in HD. It will be in the shops and on sale through PSN the first half of 2011. The games are pumped up to 720p with full stereoscopic 3D support. Trophies!
