The Dead Linger Summary
Sandswept's The Dead Linger has just received a major alpha update, which they started working on October 4th. It makes "sweeping improvements" to game performance, zombie AI and tons more.
A scroll-fest of a changelog has been published by the team, covering a whole range of gameplay mechanics and tweaks. Corn stalks have "brand new appearance" - thank god!
Sandswept Studio's multiplayer survival-horror sandbox, The Dead Linger, has shuffled its way onto Steam Early Access having cleared the Greenlight process. It offers a "planet-sized world" of the undead.
It has procedurally generated worlds, and zombies that stick to the shuffling speed limit. While in alpha, players can still create items, barricades, make fires and interact galore.
Fifteen games have been greenlit for Steam, Valve has announced, and included among the games is Satellite Reign, a spiritual successor to the classic management RPG/strategy game Syndicate, a remake of the classic puzzle game The 7th Guest, and Nekro, a weird Dungeon Keeper-style game in which the player raises the dead for troops.
