The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and his company Skybound Interactive have teamed up with Sweden-based developer Gaming Corps to work on "well-known brands," that it will announce in March.

The SXSW Gaming Expo scheduled March 13-15 is where and when they'll announce their first game in development, with it expected to launch this year. Fingers crossed it's something for PC.

It would seem that Texas-based Terminal Reality has closed down as a former artist for the game studio posted their sorrow over its fate. Recent studio staff added they were joining developer Wargaming.

Terminal Reality's last release was The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct which was a first-person shooter featuring Daryl and Merle Dixon in a prequel to the hit TV show.

Publishing behemoth Activision will be putting out "fewer games" based on licensed properties this year, read a company statement. This revelation comes as 30 global job positions are made redundant.

As they are releasing less this year, they're "realigning" internal structures to "better reflect the market opportunities" and their upcoming slate. In other words; they're trimming the fat.
