Ubisoft announce server host switch, lists games affected
The third-party data center that holds many of Ubisoft's servers providing online capability for its titles will be ditched in favour of a new facility. That means some online downtime. Six titles in total will be unplayable during the transition with an even split on PC and Mac. H.A.W.X. 2, Might & Magic : Heroes VI and The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom are named.
H.A.W.X. 2 DLC Released
Ubisoft has released some new DLC for their modern air combat game H.A.W.X. 2. The Mig Alley and Cold War DLC packs are available for download on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 for 240 Microsoft Points or £3.99.
Ubisoft delaying H.A.W.X. 2 for PC?
Due to be released September 30th was the PC version of Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 but now it appears as though it won't retail until November 16th. Users who had preordered the flight combat game from Ubisoft's Shop have been sent emails informing them of the delayed fall release. What's Ubi say?
UK all-formats chart claimed by Mafia II for third consecutive week
Once again wise guys have muscled their way to the UK chart top with Mafia II, with Kane & Lynch 2 dropped 3rd by Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2. The aerial fighter exploded from 10th to 2nd place last week. Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions entered in at 6th and R.U.S.E. 8th.
H.A.W.X. 2 PC version delayed
Ubisoft have confirmed that the PC version of their upcoming H.A.W.X. 2 game is going to be delayed. Speaking to Strategy Informer, Game Content Director Bogdan Bridinel confirmed that the delay would be in the range of one to two weeks.
