In news that probably wont surprise anyone who's been following its Torment: Tides of Numenera has been pushed back to the fourth quarter of 2015., the planned release date for InXile Entertainment's fantasy RPG
InXile had planned for an early 2015 release, but continued development and delays on its other Kickstarter title Wasteland 2 has lead the team to readjust their target date.
inXile has announced that their spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, Torment: Tides of Numenera, won't be released til 2015, chiefly because the transition to production phase has been delayed due to Wasteland 2.
The results are in with turn-based combat scraping together more votes than real-time (pausable or otherwise), and so inXile Entertainment is going ahead with their preferred choice.
In truth turn-based only bested real-time by a single percentile; 48 to 47. The team calculated that nearly 20% of backers voted, double their expectations. End Turn.
