Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes Summary
BioWare Mythic has announced that two servers have been closed down for the MMORPG Warhammer Online, but affirms they've no plans in motion to end the online game.
In 2011 the studio closed down another two servers as they continued to crowd players together. Recently they launched Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes, a free-to-play spin-off.
BioWare Mythic boss Eugene Evans talks about their new free-to-play MMO Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes, and it's "very short-session" scenarios.
EA on the whole are "figuring out what free-to-play means," how to make a profit off it and to engage players so they're "prepared to accept" the model.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is one of Electronic Arts' AAA titles coming in the next few weeks, and BioWare is confident that their MMO won't cannibalize from EA's other, currently active MMO, Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
A new trailer was shown off at PAX 2011 for free-to-play action-MMORPG Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes, showing off Felicia's firey range of attacks, from fireballs to firebreathing. Her motto? "Quench this!"
