Vlambeer's Wasteland Kings renamed 'Nuclear Throne' after inXile concerns

Wasteland Kings is no more as it becomes Nuclear Throne, announces Dutch indie Vlambeer. They were contacted by Wasteland 2 developer inXile Entertainment who worried "possible brand confusion". Vlambeer are thankful their first contact with inXile "was by a normal employee, and not a lawyer." They got a "short, amicable" email that led to a Skype chat on the name.

Dutch indie developer Vlambeer has revealed its new project, Wasteland Kings, a futuristic action-RPG where the player controls a mutant whose abilities change through, well, mutation, as they navigate randomly generated worlds.
