Producer Jun Takeunchi avoided being drawn into a discussion on these two features at last week’s event in the sin-central city of Las Vegas.
He white-washed hopes at Captivate 08 by asking the press – and by extension the fans – to be patient and wait for this year’s E3 event next month.
Resident Evil 5 is around 60% complete and Takeunchi did reveal a new female character busting her way (no pun intended) onto the scene as she helps out Redfield. She comes with an English accent but any more details are being kept locked away for now, like her name.
Resident Evil 5 is being released on Xbox360 and PS3 sometime before April 2009.
