A rather unpleasant and understandably horrifying bug glitch has been found much to the dismay of Rock band fans; it casts bands into digital oblivion.
Apparently it’s caused by having a primary Live-enabled account and a secondary non-Live account, thus is contained to Xbox 360 gamers. No solution out yet.
Well I guess you could eliminate that secondary account from the console but you shouldn’t really have to do that for just one games fickle fancy. No word from Harmonix yet on the issue whom are probably mining code for a fix.
Getting so far into the campaign it would suddenly wipe the band and its leader but any unlocked song would remain functional. Rock Band 2 is currently available only in the US on the Xbox 360.
”The common threads seem to be the use of an X-box Live Enabled primary account and a non X-box Live Enabled secondary account. To form your band. This makes me believe this will be an X-box 360 error and not anything that would effect the Wii or PS3 versions,” wrote Kotaku’s tipster.
