For now at least Microsoft’s upcoming Live Primetime service will only be made available to North America, the United Kingdom, France and Germany at launch.
Why it is being limited to just four regions no one knows but it could just be Microsoft trialing the service or perhaps there were some issues with Endermols involvement.
”The new Xbox LIVE channel Xbox LIVE Primetime represents an all-new way to play,” read the official press release. ”A collection of virtual game shows such as “1 vs. 100,” Xbox LIVE Primetime allows thousands of gamers to become contestants from their living rooms, playing together simultaneously, live with content that is always fresh and relevant.”
It’s here they announce that only the four regions will get access, thanks to Button Bandits keen eyes: ”The global phenomenon “1 vs. 100” is created by Endemol, the world’s largest independent production company and the producer of the hit show “Deal or No Deal.” Xbox LIVE Primetime is available in North America, France, Germany and the U.K.”
Considering Endemol is a Dutch company it’s a little odd that Denmark didn’t make the cut.
