The tease that was released a little while back was hinting and the new impending Metal Gear Solid Touch coming to iPhone in the spring.
The reveal was spilled by Famitsu mag and has now been confirmed by Konami. Many hoped it would be news of Metal Gear Solid 4 heading to the Xbox 360, like myself.
”It’s an original title set in the MGS4 universe, and consists of 8 stages (with the promise of more to be made available later),” reports Kotaku.
”It’s obviously controlled via the touchpad (as opposed to the accelerometer), with a sniping screenshot looking a lot like the iPhone’s zoom-in text editing setup.”
Reactions are mixed it seems, some happy that a new Metal Gear is on the way but most less so that Konami has chosen the iPhone over bringing joy to Xbox 360 gamers.
