Sandi Isaacs led Paramount in to the games publishing arena but has left before everything was in full swing. The studio is likely to poach someone high profile.
The diabolical plan for Paramount is to start small, like mobile games small and casual games before taking steps toward AAA title projects. iPhone games have already released.
”Senior VP of interactive and mobile Sandi Isaacs, who helped lead Paramount from pure licensor to publisher, is leaving, I’ve confirmed,” reports Variety’s Ben Fritz.
Up until now Paramount has only ever licensed intellectual properties to be developed elsewhere but Isaacs managed to convince them to carve a slice for themselves.
‘Ironman’ and ‘Saturday Night Fever’ have already gone iPhone mobile, with casual games based on ‘Pretty in Pink,’ ‘Clueless,’ and ‘Mean Girls’ in the works.
