SNK Playmore confirms Metal Slug HD

SNK Playmore has revealed that the Metal Slug series will receive an HD remake, following the path of the King of Fighters series.

"In order to meet our fans demands for an HD version of Metal Slug, we're considering bringing this series to the new generation of consoles in a similar way to KOF XII," said Playmore in a recent interview with IGN.

The company did say that they will be making an announcement about the HD version of Metal Slug any day now.
