The director for upcoming RPG The Last Remnant has revealed they don't have dead-set favourite, but does admit they've had "quite a lot of fun" with Xbox 360.
Recently the Japanese developer/publisher has stunned the gaming world with a sudden surge of support and titles coming to Xbox 360, it's "really dev friendly" says Takai-san.
Director Hiroshi Takai is no stranger to the videogame's market who’s had key roles in Legend of Mana and the Romancing SaGa trilogy. Square Enix was firmly believed a PlayStation exclusive wet dream but the team is spreading their wings.
"If there's something that a particular platform can do that the game really needs to take advantage of then it may end up being an exclusive title, but otherwise the producers or the development teams don't have a particular favourite platform, so there isn't really anything to stop us from just going multiplatform in the future," explains Takai-san, speaking with .
"The 360 is an easy platform to make games for. The dev environment and the dev kit and everything they've released, those were really dev friendly, so it was quite a lot of fun to work on the 360 version from a development point of view."
The biggest stun so far is the news that Final Fantasy XIII will be arriving on Xbox 360 in Western markets, jaws dropped just like the bomb of the news itself did at E3 in July.
