Good news? About Spore? Preposterous, it seems, with their excessive delays dating back to the infancy of the Queen. But it’s true, though it might not be the news you’d expect.
How would you feel about creating your own Spore creature…before the game comes out? For those of you who have paid attention to what Spore is, how it works, etc., you’ll know that creature creation is a huge focus on the game, even though eventually it will evolve into something somewhat different than the original.
Of course, picking what you want could take hours. Days, even. For those of you who like to spend that much time in picking just the write creature, then you’re in luck. This June, a full Spore creature creator will go live that is identical to the one in-game. No, you won’t be able to transfer your creature to the actual game (as far as we know), but it’s identical, so whatever steps you take in one can be reproduced easily in the next.
