When you put together a crack team of highly trained writers who have dedicated their lives to that ancient art commonly known as writing, magical things start to happen. If you push this team hard enough, then fantastic games reviews get written and published and that's exactly what happened. Don't believe me? Read on.
The first review in this hectic week in the world of games was one of my very own. Now, anyone that knows me will tell you that I am humility personified, I hate talking up my own stuff or even merely mentioning it. However, mywas so absolutely awesome in every respect it's actually sad for everyone else that they can't touch me in terms ninja writing skillz - so my mother tells me anyway.
Now JanaLee Stocks is a woman whom I admire, and you should too. Not only does she love those digital experiences that make as dance like bears we call games, she also knows how to encapsulate that rhythmical experience in a single piece of writing. So when our Overlord and King, Jamie "Content Manager" Davey sent her a copy of, JanaLee was all over it like a flash. She even scored it a more than respectable 8.5/10. Stunning.
I've never met Matt Keller but Kres "The Don" Kolumbic assures me he's kosher so that's good enough for me. It should be good enough for you too as you don't want to make Mr. Kresmir (as his girlfriend calls him) angry. Still, if you're not that convinced by a pair of broken legs, Mafia style, then take a look at the excellent.
Moving swiftly on we arrive at Sonic Rival 2 (PSP). Now the man behind this one is an enigma; known to his family as the beast, his enemies Mad Manny and his dog as simply, Emmanuel Brown, Mr. Garcia himself has chosen to let you, the masses, the great unwashed, into a little secret. Now for me to reveal what that secret is would be a breach of contract but moreover Manny would literally eat me alive. If Manny doesn't scare you however, then you can discover the secret. However, don't blame me if you wake up in the morning and you find your legs have been chewed off.
Anyone who knows Strategy Informer knows Simon Priest. Don't let the name fool you either. When he gets his teeth into a game he's like a bulldog - he doesn't let go until something breaks. This time, he actually broke several fingers getting to grips with and thus reviewing. So after several hours in the emergency room Simon emerged carrying a piece lingual genius in one hand and bearing bandages in the other. Dedication.
Now I like a beer as much as the next man/woman/person/animal. I'm sure most of you do too. Now if you're English, over-weight and Northern, then you'll probably like drinking and playing pub-games. Now I'm not saying Mike Jennings is Northern but he likes his Darts, and he thought that if you can actually find a friend that isn't just some words on a computer screen you can actually have fun playing PDC World Championship Darts 2008 (PS2). He didn't think too much of the single player, however. But that's enough spoilers, find out what he said.
Satisfied now? Filled your guts with words that when properly digested make sentences? No? You want more? Ok then: there's a , a , a and a !
Undoubtedly we'll be back next week filling you in on what went on and how. However, I suggest you actually visit Strategy Informer at least fifteen times a day to see if anything has changed.
