You can’t hide from gamers, even if you are a ‘fake’ billboard meant only for a movie set. The flick in question is ‘Battle: Los Angeles’, which follows an alien invasion of Earth.
Sound familiar? Indeed. It’s to be distributed by Columbia Pictures, which Sony Pictures owns. Resistance developer Insomniac Games says they’ve ”no announcements” right now.
”We’ve made no announcements at this time,” is the official Insomniac response, which is their way of saying ‘Yeah, you caught us. Curses and drat!’ The billboard was obviously put together to subliminally brainwash us into buying the third entry into the franchise.
Battle: Los Angeles is set for a February 2010 date, and filming is taking place in Shreveport, Louisiana. It comes as no surprise that Insomniac would be developing another Resistance title given the success of the series thus far. NeoGAF spotted the ad.
Don’t forget: Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time releases this month, exclusively on PS3.
