For those looking to get inside the MAG beta you're in luck, Sony is running a quick signup for more testers and they have, or had, "up to 16,000 Promotional Codes" ready.
The beta sessions will run Monday to Friday for six hours each day. These time slots will be at 5pm to 8pm and midnight to 3am GMT. Not for Germany, due to "restrictions imposed" by law.
"Enabling 256 players to occupy the same battlefield is no small feat, and Zipper Interactive now needs to test the game’s servers," posted Elliott Martin on the
"Up to 16,000 Promotional Codes will be distributed via email on a first come, first served basis. They will be sent out in weekly batches, so don’t give up hope if you don’t get yours straight away," they continued. Remember this is a beta and not a bug-free demo. Runs from Sept. 27th to Oct. 9th.
You cannot attempt tousing the PS3 browser, it must be on a PC. You'd best hurry!
"I expect the first batch of emails to go out later this week..." said MAG's Martin. They agree the server times do suck some but "these times have been chosen to work across as many regions as possible." Do you have a PlayStation 3 burning for some 256-player action?
