Heroes Over Europe developer Transmission Games has been locked up for good as the developer struggled to secure funding from publishers; it had earlier cut its workforce.
Most recently the Australian studio worked on Ashes Cricket 2009, and before that: Heroes Over The Pacific and a number of ALF titles. The staff not let go earlier are now made redundant.
It’s always sad to see another videogames developer close up shop for good. Let’s hope some other Melbourne-based dev teams have space in their office for ex-Transmissions.
