It's a term that does "not exist in Star Wars" according to BioWare community man Sean Dahlberg, with certain terms falling into censor.
However it seems the developer has decided to relax a little, likely to prevent a full-scale lamblasting from certain communities. The words 'gay', 'lesbian' and 'homosexual' are free to frolic once more.
Will this fragile peace last though? "...these are terms that do not exist in Star Wars," Dahlberg, before proceeding to lock the topic. A little later and it's been opened again with the three homosexual terms being taken out of censorship.
Apparently BioWare's own character Juhani from Knights of the Old Republic in fact showed a lesbian inclination if the player character was female, and all dialogue had been unlocked...
