You always use "100 percent" of the hardware, but as they're first-party and have "really clever" developers on staff you "learn tricks" along the way. Greenawalt likens it to Tetris.
"Have we maxed out the 360? Of course not," dismissed Turn 10's Greenawalt in an interview with , adding that "it’s a really powerful system."
"When it comes to hardware you always use 100 percent. Even to make a little arcade game, you’d use 100 percent of the hardware," he continued.
"But when you’re first party, and when you’ve got a really clever development staff that’s world class, hired from all over the industry, then you learn tricks. It’s like Tetris."
Forza 2 was the first Xbox 360 game that achieved 60 frames per second believes Greenawalt. Forza Motorsport 3 releases exclusively on Xbox 360 this October 23rd in Europe.
