Hidden Path Entertainment has made a surprise press release announcing that their three year old tower defense game, Defense Grid: The Awakening, will be getting some new DLC on the 7th December on Steam and Xbox Live Marketplace.
If that weren’t enough, the DLC will star none other than GLaDOS, the malevolent AI from the Portal series. According to the press release, the AI ”shakes up the Defense Grid world. Players will battle not only alien hordes, but the deviousness of GLaDOS as she tests the player’s skills and changes all of the rules that you have come to know. Can you protect the cores in spite of her intrusive testing?”
The DLC, appropriately titled “You Monster”, includes the following features:
* 8 new maps with an all new story.

Over 15 hours of new gameplay.
