Farrell is confident PSN should be up by May 10th when MX vs. ATV Alive releases, which is supported by an in-game store as it carries a low MSRP of $39.99.
"With respect to the general question, Sony's asked us to refer all questions about the status of the network to them,” said THQ CEO Farrell. Obviously PSN will be of vital importance to MX vs. ATV Alive as it wants to profit via premium DLC.
It carries an MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) of just $39.99 which THQ believe will encourage more to buy the game and then likely become curious to what else they can add through piece meals purchases in-game.
