Relentless are part of Brighton’s ”development community” and so were ”gutted” about Disney’s decision to lay off staff. They want them to ”meet the team”.
Today the office doors of Relentless are being thrown open at 4pm GMT with an introduction and general talk about the studio from co-founder David Amor, followed by details of positions people who are interested could possibly fill.
”As part of the Brighton development community we were gutted to hear the news, so we thought it would be a good idea if we opened our doors so people could come and meet the team, see our office and ask us some questions,” said Relentless’ Stuart Dodman.
Disney’s cut back on console development has meant they’re trimming a lot of staff at Black Rock Studios, which created racer Split/Second.
