The DiRT franchise is about to get really filthy as it embraces a ‘Destruction Derby’ ethos in DiRT: Showdown, as rally racers smash opponents to bits in arenas. This is not DiRT 4.
This is a spin-off and its due in May next year. It reportedly has an 8-player arena mode online as well as sporting a system similar to EA’s Autolog in Need for Speed.
If you can’t beat ‘em, smash ‘em - that was the Destruction Derby way and now DiRT: Showdown is ready to wheel spin into wreckage too. Courses have pinch points to encourage car carnage.
