Dead Island developer Techland is revisiting the ATV offroad racing genre with their new Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network game Haste, which will be published by UbiSoft.
The game is a follow up to their retail release Nail’d, which was published by Deep Silver and received mediocre reviews including a 5.5/10 score from Strategy Informer. However, it’s possible that a Nail’d-type game will translate better to a smaller, digital download format, much like Section 8: Prejudice fared far better both commercially and critically than its retail predecessor.
No release date has been announced, but Techland stated Haste would be released sometime in 2012.
