It didn’t take long for rival Electronic Arts executives to take a potshot at the recently revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, as global product manager Kevin O’Leary tweeted that Activision should have taken a year off from the series.
O’Leary posted on Twitter, ”Poor (Black Ops II), you look tired, you should take a year off and rest.”
Presumably, O’Leary doesn’t want to see a repeat of last year, when EA’s Battlefield 3 was pitted against Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the latter of which set records for game sales despite similar sniping from EA employees.
This year, EA will be releasing Medal of Honor: Warfighter against the Black Ops 2 juggernaut.
