The new update will add a new Skirmish, the Storm of Methedras, as players will ascend the famed mountain from The Hobbit, where they will “confront a foe seeking to bring supernatural forces to bear against Rohan,” culminating in a boss fight with Saruman’s ally, the evil sorceress Gwyllion. The Skirmish is intended for groups of up to twelve for level 70-75, with two tiers of difficulty.
In addition, both Fornost and Moria will be revamped for players. With Update 7, Fornost will be split into four separate instances with two levels of difficulty for groups of six players from level 30 to 75, while Return to Moria will be improved visually with restructured quests in some of the subterranean zones, including improvements to The Great Delving, Silvertine Lodes, Water Works, and Durin’s Way.
