Sony’s strange Move-enabled adventure game, Datura, launches tomorrow. The adventure games promises difficult moral choices that will affect the story. The game is a collaboration between Sony Santa Monica and Polish developer Plastic, which released Linger in Shadows for the PlayStation 3.
According to SCEE associate producer Jan Kuczynski, ”What you choose will determine how the scenario plays out and will have subtle effects on the overall experience. Once you finish, it’s great to discuss with friends what road they took and how that changed what they saw.”
The game is compatible with the Move controller, but doesn’t require one; it will work with the DualShock controller. The game also features stereoscopic 3D capability.
Datura will go for €7.99/£6.49, and PlayStation Plus subscribers who purchase the game at launch will get a 20% discount.
A developer diary with game Director Michal Staniszewski previews the game for users in the video below.
