"revolutionise the industry" when it comes to online gaming services, according to a new classified ad by the publisher.
The ad states, "LucasArts is building a large scale online services and infrastructure to support a new way of connected online gaming that is going to revolutionize the industry. This position is one of the most senior positions and plays a critical part in the success of the online group at LucasArts."
This could be an indication that the publisher will be making its own version of Halo Waypoint or Call of Duty: Elite - an online portal for its future multiplayer action titles, one of which is to be Star Wars: Battlefront 3.
LucasArts is also looking for a Graphics Engineer and Senior Tools Engineer for what they list is an "Action/ Adventure Title," which they claim will be "on future console and PC hardware with a team of talented artists and engineers."
Has LucasArts received inside knowledge of the next generation of console other than the Wii U? Or are they just being well prepared for the inevitable Xbox 720/PlayStation 4?
