There’ll be no submitting to the might of a publisher with Wasteland 2, as the studio can make it how they want. ”I haven’t been more excited to make a game in over a decade.”
”It is a dream to focus all my attention on making a wonderful experience without distraction from outside forces,” said game design veteran Brian Fargo. Initially he was fishing for community reaction simply to the idea of starting up a Kickstarter project for Wasteland 2. He’s got his answer by way of $900,000 pledged in under 48 hours.
