Long-delayed PlayStation 3 racer Absolute Supercars will finally be arriving this coming May 2012, courtesty of publisher System 3. The game will be endorsed by F1 driver Bruno Senna, best known as the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, three time F1 World Champion.
According to System 3 CEO Mark Cale, “This is the fourth game we’ve worked on with Eutechnyx, a team we consider one of the best racing studios in the world. They have a lot of talent in crafting some of the best racing experiences, and we’ve enjoyed a very close relationship with the team over the past five years.”
Senna was a pivotal part in the game’s development. Cale noted, “System 3 has a long history of working with Bruno. He worked closely with us during the development of Absolute Supercars and his involvement was instrumental in getting the cars feeling just right.”
“Bruno also worked on the handling and general feel of every car in Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. His involvement is part of the reason why the game is still regarded as the most accurate console racing sim,” he added.
The game also features commentary from TV car pundit Tiff Needell.
