With the removal of Auraxium, players gaining certification will notice a dramatic rise, says John Smedley. This will take place during their next major beta patch.
During a State of the Game post on the official SOE forums, president Smedley detailed some big changes coming to the game courtesy of the beta feedback the development team have been receiving. They will be ”streaming the game live from SOE Live’s keynote at 7pm this Thursday October 18th (Pacific).” Continent Amerish will showcase.
”In addition to all that you can expect us to formally announce the release date (we’ve always said it will launch in 2012). We’ve chosen a date we feel gives us a great launch and the opportunity to improve the game to launch standards,” he said. SOE have over 100 devs working ”night and day (literally)” on the issues of the MMOFPS.
