Florida-based indie developer Moonspider Studio has announced its first videogame title, Harold, a speedy platform puzzler in which the player guides hapless racer Harold as a guardian angel, protecting him from hazards as he speeds forward.
According to Moonspider president Loris Malek, “We have a fantastic team here at Moonspider Studio and all I want to do is make good games. We’ve assembled some of the most talented artists, designers and programmers from inside and outside of the video game industry, each with incredible pedigrees. We’ve been working on Harold for a while now and we can’t wait to finally show our creation to the world.”
Said development team includes artists who have been employed by such prestigious animation houses as Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, and Studio Ghibli.
Harold will debut at PAX Prime next week, and will be released on PC and console sometime in 2013.
