Canadian-based developer LeGrudge & Rugged have released their retro-styled platformer Krunch. The game is a ”quick-reflex game about escaping, survival and the fear of being closed in,” inspired by old 8-bit Nintendo games.
The game is completely DRM-free, and features cross-platform gameplay, with compatibility between Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
The game is available digitally from the official site here for $7.99. Special deals include the game and its soundtrack for $9.99, and a Collector’s Edition which includes the game on DVD in a jewel box, which also has the soundtrack on a CD, a 32 page Krunch comic book, a signed and numbered Krunch art print, a 14”x9.5” poster featuring all of the boss maps, stickers and wallpapers, all for $29.99 - the Collector’s Edition is limited.
