US cable giants prepare console challenge with streaming games services

According to Bloomberg, the world-renowned companies are working on technology that lets players stream triple-A games through their cable box. Trials start this year ready for release in 2013.

While OnLive failed in its attempt to dislodge traditional gaming, the aforementioned groups have greater funds to make an impact.
