"We're very sorry for the server issues affecting Far Cry 3 on PC and are working as fast as possible to restore the service," Ubisoft as an apology.
discovered the fact that Uplay can be told to go offline and so launching Far Cry 3 is fine, but the rather annoying fact is that Uplay by default doesn't tell you that an offline is available if the service is having connection issues. Far Cry 3 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC today in the UK.
