State of Decay resubmitted to Aussie board without real-life drugs

Undead Labs has submitted a modified version of its hit Xbox Live Arcade open world zombie game State of Decay to the Australian Classification Board, removing references to the real-world drugs featured in it which had previously caused the board to deny it a rating.

In short, ”Stimulants out! ‘Supplements’ in!”, as the developer announced on its Facebook page.

The offending drugs featured both legal and illicit substances including methadone, morphine, amphetamines, stimulants, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, codeine, aspirin, “trucker pills”, painkillers, and tussin.

The developer also stated that State of Decay will be on Steam but ”not soon”.

State of Decay was released on the 5th June 2013, and became the fastest selling XBLA game.
