Square Enix has finally released Final Fantasy VII on Steam, which is identical to their Square Enix Store version which hit PC last year. Achievements, cloud saving and a character booster let you edit stats.
What’s that? Cheating!? The booster is to let you ”enjoy your adventure” without stressing over the little things apparently. The cloud saves can be a little tricky when switching between on and offline.
Cloud saves have the right of way over local saves, so be sure to back up those local saves when you play it offline otherwise your progress will be lost. Isn’t the future fun?
Final Fantasy VII is available through Steam for £9.99.
