One of the most requested Rare properties that has been demanded from Microsoft is the fighting game Killer Instinct. However, the publisher has been prevented from releasing an HD version since 2012 thanks to an obscure Fox TV show by the same name.
According to a posting on NeoGAF, Fox and Microsoft signed a Trademark Coexistence Agreement allowing Microsoft to register a trademark for a videogame named Killer Instinct.
Microsoft has not commented yet on the situation.
