Fromsoftware’s Dark Souls II will begin its first Beta October 12th via PlayStation Network, and a second round of testing October 27th. Only the PlayStation platform will be hosting the Beta tests.
Dark Souls II is also due for release on Xbox 360 and PC, launching in March 2014. The impending PS3 Betas will run for US, EU and AU PSN users. Registrations are open now.
A ‘registration ticket’ is available freely via the PlayStation Store. Those who download these tickets stand a chance of Closed Beta selection nearer the time.
This is a ”network test” version of the RPG game, and PSN offers the widest selection of testers. ”For the first time join the dark journey with this beta and experience overwhelming enemy encounters, diabolical hazards, and the unrelenting challenge that only FROMSOFTWARE can deliver,” reads the release.
