Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm is due to be released next week on the 12th March, and Blizzard has revealed that work on the second expansion, Legacy of the Void, is underway.
It was conformed by game director Dustin Browder on a Reddit AMA. When asked about Void, he stated, “We have started on Legacy story, scripts and missions,” adding more than 80 developers as well as “hundreds” of QA, cinematic and support staff were working on the Protoss-centric expansion.
It’ll be interesting to see how long Legacy of the Void takes, since there was a two-and-a-half year gap between Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.
