According to Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford on the Nerdist podcast, more Borderlands 2 DLC is planned, and he’s preparing ”a whole new brand” for next-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The original Borderlands 2 Season Pass only accounted for the four DLC packs. Pitchford stated that the developer will be doing “other deals” with the additional DLC.
”We’ve got more stuff in the hopper that we’re planning,” explained Pitchford, ”and we’re getting pretty excited about it. So, if you’re a Borderlands fan, you don’t have to be afraid that that’s the end of it.”
The official announcement of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will be coming “later”.
