More Ubisoft news as they reveal Assassin’s Creed: Liberation will be going beyond its PlayStation Vita roots in a new HD version for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s the series’ first ever playable female assassin.
The AnvilNext engine is powering it, and it will capitalise on the ”more powerful hardware” with improved visuals, added gameplay, and re-mastered effects and music.
The timeline in Assassin’s Creed Liberation is set between 1765 and 1777, and we play as African-French Assassin Aveline de Grandpre in New Orleans.
”With improved gameplay, deeper story and HD graphics makes Liberation an immersive and full Assassin’s Creed experience,” blurb Ubisoft. Liberation is a spin-off to Assassin’s Creed III. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is set before the events in both games as we fill the pirate boots of Edward Kenway.
Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in early 2014.
